Peer Sorensen Carv Brd W/Feet 56X39X6cm

A carving board elevated on feet, allowing it to be lifted off the countertop and providing a handhold underneath. The channelled surface is designed to catch the juices released by a resting roast.

• Sustainably sourced acacia. A hardwood with rich grain patterns, ensuring that no two boards are identical. It is durable enough for frequent use, naturally antibacterial, and resistant to moisture and wear.
• Kinder to your knives. The wood is gentler on blades compared to glass or stone, helping to maintain sharper edges for a longer time.
• Naturally more hygienic than plastic. Wood possesses natural antibacterial qualities and does not retain knife marks like plastic does.
• Measures 56x39x6cm. This size allows you to verify it against your countertop before making a purchase.
• Finished to show the grain. Treated to enhance the color and figure of the wood rather than conceal it with a coating.
• Hand wash and dry. Timber should not be placed in a dishwasher; a simple wipe down will keep the board in good condition for years.
• Oil it now and then. Applying food-safe mineral oil nourishes the wood and prevents the grain from drying out. With this care, a board like this can last longer than most kitchen items.

Peer Sorensen has been crafting timber boards since 1981.
