Hui loves to share with everyone! Hui teaches us the days of the week in Tokelauan while showing us how to share with others. Based on the bestselling Mila’s My Gagana Series 1 released in 2019, these translated versions include two stories in one book which include both ‘f’ and ‘wh’ Tokelauan versions of our story in the spirit of inclusion, while providing safe access to all versions of our Pacific languages for our tamaiti and families.

Dahlia Malaeulu is an award-winning author and publisher of Mila's Books - Pasifika children's books that help tamaiti to be seen, heard and valued. A Samoan New Zealander with connections to the Samoan villages of Vaivase tai and Sinamoga, Dahlia is a passionate educator at heart driven by the power of Pasifika stories and enabling tamaiti to succeed as themselves. Dahlia also regularly presents at educational conferences, visits schools across Aotearoa, was the Pasifika Curator at the Auckland Writer's festival this year, the recipient of the Creative New Zealand Pasifika Emerging Pacific Artist Award (2022), the NZ Emerging Publisher Award (2023) and serves on the Te Pou Muramura Read New Zealand board.
