Peer Soren Cutting Board Long Grain 270 X 220 X 25mm

The smallest of the acacia long grain boards. A bench-side board perfect for garlic, herbs, and tasks that don't require a larger board.

• Sustainably sourced acacia. A richly grained hardwood where each board features a unique pattern. Durable enough for heavy daily use, naturally antibacterial, and resistant to moisture and wear.
• Long grain construction. The grain extends along the length of the board, providing a softer surface that is gentler on an edge.
• Kinder to your knives. Timber is less harsh on a blade compared to glass or stone, allowing edges to remain sharp longer.
• Naturally more hygienic than plastic. Wood possesses inherent antibacterial qualities and does not retain knife scarring like plastic does.
• Measures 27x22x2.5cm. Sized for you to verify against your bench before purchasing.
• Finished to showcase the grain. Treated to enhance the color and figure of the timber instead of covering it with a coating.
• Hand wash and dry. Timber should not be placed in a dishwasher, and a simple wipe down will extend the life of the board for years.
• Oil it occasionally. A wipe of food-safe mineral oil nourishes the timber and prevents the grain from drying out. With this care, a board like this can outlast most kitchen items.

Peer Sorensen has been crafting timber boards since 1981.
