Peer Sorensen LG Chop Board 48X36X6cm

The most substantial board in the long grain collection, measuring 6cm in thickness and 48cm in width. Essentially a butcher block, it remains stable during use.

• Sustainably sourced acacia. A hardwood with rich grain patterns, ensuring that no two boards are identical. Durable enough for frequent use, it possesses natural antibacterial properties and is resistant to moisture and wear.
• Long grain construction. The grain extends along the length of the board, providing a gentler surface that is less harsh on an edge.
• Kinder to your knives. Wood is gentler on blades compared to glass or stone, helping edges to remain sharper for longer.
• Naturally more hygienic than plastic. Wood has natural antibacterial qualities and does not retain knife marks like plastic does.
• Measures 48x36x6cm. Designed for you to verify its fit against your countertop prior to purchase.
• Finished to show the grain. Treated to enhance the color and texture of the wood rather than cover it with a finish.
• Hand wash and dry. Wood should not be placed in a dishwasher; a simple wipe down will extend the life of the board.
• Oil it now and then. Applying food-safe mineral oil nourishes the wood and prevents the grain from drying out. With proper care, a board like this can last longer than most kitchen items.
