Peer Sorensen LG Chop Brd 46X25X1.8cm

A long, slender acacia board designed to fit the narrow strip of bench space found in most kitchens, and it also serves effectively as a grazing board.

• Sustainably sourced acacia. A hardwood with rich grain patterns, ensuring that each board is unique. It is durable enough for frequent use, naturally antibacterial, and resistant to moisture and wear.
• Long grain construction. The grain extends along the length of the board, providing a gentler surface that is easier on knife edges.
• Kinder to your knives. The wood is gentler on blades compared to glass or stone, helping to maintain sharp edges for a longer time.
• Naturally more hygienic than plastic. Wood possesses natural antibacterial qualities and does not retain knife marks like plastic does.
• Measures 46x26x1.8cm. Dimensions are provided so you can verify it against your bench prior to purchase.
• Finished to show the grain. Treated to enhance the color and figure of the wood rather than conceal it with a coating.
• Hand wash and dry. Timber should not be placed in a dishwasher; a simple wipe down will extend the life of the board for years.
• Oil it now and then. Applying food-safe mineral oil nourishes the wood and prevents the grain from drying out. By doing this, a board like this can outlast most kitchen items.

Peer Sorensen has been crafting timber boards since 1981.
