Overheating is not covered by the warranty. Aerosol sprays are not recommended as they burn at lower temperatures. Preheat the product to medium heat for a few minutes before frying, whether with or without oil. Products with stainless steel handles may become hot over time, so an oven mitt may be necessary when handling the handles. The product is best cleaned while still warm. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before washing in hot soapy water. Use a soft nylon scourer and scrub the pan vigorously with hot soapy water, ensuring all food residues and fats are removed. Avoid using harsh or abrasive cloths or cleaning agents. The product should always be clean before drying and storing. While dishwasher safe, SCANPAN recommends hand washing to prolong the product's lifespan.
